Cryptocurrency Billing & Wallet Top-Up Terms
1 min read
1. Overview & Cryptocurrency Acceptance Scope #
BEX utilizes an automated, decentralized-friendly payment infrastructure for wholesale wallet top-ups and service provisioning. To ensure frictionless global B2B settlements, BEX accepts direct cryptocurrency deposits, including major stablecoins (USDT TRC20, USDT BEP20, USDT TON) and native crypto assets (BTC, LTC, TON). This agreement governs invoice generation, exchange rate conversions, ledger posting, and transaction error handling.
2. Invoice Generation, Exchange Rates & Expiry #
To protect both BEX and commercial partners from cryptocurrency volatility:
- Dynamic Exchange Rate Locking: Every top-up invoice generated in the BEX dashboard calculates the crypto amount based on real-time market rates from tier-1 liquidity providers.
- Fixed Invoice Window: Crypto invoices remain valid for a strictly limited window (typically 15 to 30 minutes). Payments broadcasted after invoice expiration are subject to re-valuation based on current spot prices.
- Underpayment & Network Gas Fees: Transactions must cover the exact invoice amount net of network transfer fees (gas fees). If an underpayment occurs due to network fees, the wallet balance is credited proportionally or held until the remaining balance is settled.
3. Blockchain Confirmations & Immutable Ledger Posting #
The crediting of wholesale balances to reseller wallets is governed by automated on-chain verification:
- Required Block Confirmations: Wallet balances are automatically updated only after the deposit transaction reaches the required network block confirmation threshold (e.g., 1 confirmation for TRC20/BEP20, 2 confirmations for BTC).
- Immutability of Blockchain Transactions: All cryptocurrency transfers are final and irreversible by design. BEX cannot reverse, cancel, or modify a transaction once it has been broadcast to the blockchain.
- Instant Ledger Settlement: Upon receiving required confirmations, the BEX payment engine immediately converts the settled crypto value into account balance units (USD equivalent or credit slots) without manual administrative delays.
4. Cross-Chain Errors, Wrong Network & Deposit Recovery #
In cases where partners make operational errors during payment transmission:
- Incorrect Network or Asset Deposits: Depositing unsupported tokens, sending assets via unapproved cross-chain bridges, or omitting required destination tags/memos (e.g., for TON) falls outside automated processing.
- Manual Recovery Protocol: BEX will attempt technical recovery for misdirected funds where technically feasible. Recovery attempts are subject to an administrative fee and may require up to 14 business days to process. BEX does not guarantee recovery for permanently burned or unrecoverable assets.
5. AML Compliance & Source of Funds #
To maintain ecosystem integrity and comply with global anti-money laundering (AML) standards:
- Automated Risk Scoring: All incoming deposits pass through automated compliance screening. Deposits originating from sanctioned wallet clusters, mixers, or known illicit sources will be flagged immediately.
- Account Freezing Rights: BEX reserves the right to temporarily hold funds and request proof of source of wealth/funds if a deposit triggers high-risk AML alerts.
6. Key Strategic & Legal Benefits #
- Seamless Global Settlement: Eliminates traditional cross-border banking delays and currency conversion friction.
- Immutable Transparency: On-chain transaction hashes provide undisputed cryptographic proof of payment.
- Automated Scalability: Instant balance updating ensures uninterrupted wholesale token generation for resellers.
