2. Technical Mechanism #

• eBPF Packet Counters: Edge nodes use eBPF kernel filters to count raw byte transfers per active token hash without inspecting packet contents or destinations.
• Gigify Metering: Decrements the token’s byte quota atomically in real time as encrypted payload packets cross the virtual TUN interface.
• Premium Metering: Tracks session validity strictly by duration timestamps (30-day ledger counter) while monitoring concurrent device socket handshakes.
