Refund Eligibility & Balance Adjustment Terms

2 min read

1. Overview & Non-Refundability Principle #

This specification outlines the criteria governing financial refunds, balance corrections, and credit adjustments within the BEX commercial ecosystem. Due to the digital, immediately provisioned, and volatile nature of wholesale network tokens and bandwidth allocations, all pre-purchased credits, token deposits, and wallet top-ups are non-refundable by default once processed on the blockchain and credited to the reseller account.

2. SLA Breach & Technical Non-Performance Exceptions #

Refunds or credit compensations are evaluated exclusively under severe structural failure conditions:

  • Sustained Network Inaccessibility: If the BEX routing infrastructure suffers a catastrophic, unannounced outage exceeding the SLA thresholds (below 95.0% monthly uptime) without redundant routing failover, affected B2B partners become eligible for credit adjustments.
  • Token Provisioning Failure: If a system ledger error permanently prevents the generation or activation of valid access tokens from a paid balance, and BEX technical support cannot resolve the issue within 7 business days, a balance adjustment will be issued.
  • Compensation Mechanism: Approved technical compensations are credited exclusively as internal account balance units or token quota top-ups. Direct fiat or cryptocurrency cash refunds to external wallets are not provided.

3. Ledger Adjustments & Discrepancy Corrections #

To resolve billing anomalies or administrative ledger errors:

  • Automated Audit Triggers: Resellers may submit balance audit requests if an unexpected discrepancy occurs between generated tokens and wallet balance deductions.
  • Adjustment Execution: Upon validation by the BEX ledger audit engine, corrected credit amounts are applied directly to the reseller’s balance within 48 hours.
  • Over-Allocation Recovers: BEX reserves the right to adjust or deduct wallet credits if an administrative software glitch results in duplicate or unauthorized credit deposits.

4. Chargebacks, Disputes & Fraud Protection #

To safeguard the system against fraudulent claims and payment abuse:

  • Unilateral Chargeback Penalty: Any attempt to initiate a fraudulent chargeback, transaction reversal, or false dispute claim via third-party payment processors will result in an immediate and permanent lock of the reseller dashboard and connected API sub-keys.
  • Token Invalidation: Tokens generated via disputed funds will be immediately revoked at the gateway layer, terminating connected end-user sessions to prevent uncompensated network usage.

5. Key Strategic & Legal Benefits #

  • Financial Risk Mitigation: Clear non-refundability rules prevent liquidity disruption and speculative credit purchases.
  • Transparent Dispute Resolution: Standardized audit procedures ensure fair and objective handling of ledger discrepancies.
  • Ecosystem Integrity: Immediate invalidation of disputed tokens prevents unauthorized network consumption.
